About
What if we stopped asking students to fit into the system—and started building systems that reflect the futures our communities actually want? In this highly interactive session, participants will co-design a Profile of a Graduate that reflects the unique hopes, values, and workforce needs of their communities. Through facilitated collaboration, real-time feedback, and AI-supported synthesis, we’ll align around a shared vision of student success—and begin the work of reverse-engineering the learning environments needed to bring it to life. This session isn’t about tweaking standards or revising course outlines. It’s about transforming how we define success, how we build trust, and how we design systems capable of producing graduates who are competent, confident, and future-ready. Participants will: - Collaboratively define key competencies and attributes for their ideal graduate - Use AI to synthesize diverse perspectives into a community-wide Graduate Profile - Explore how learning environments, pathways, and partnerships must evolve to support these outcomes - Leave with concrete tools and strategies to start this work back home—with employers, educators, and local leaders at the table Whether you're leading a CTE initiative, designing a youth apprenticeship program, or building cross-sector pathways, this session will help you ground your work in a shared, locally-rooted definition of success—and design forward from there.
